About Me

I am Sandy Brown, the founder of Legal Mediation Limited, bringing a unique skill set to my family law and mediation practice. 

 

Having qualified as a solicitor over 20 years ago, I spent ten years as an insurance litigation solicitor, including five years with Greenwoods Solicitors in The City of London. 

 

My extensive legal background also includes over 10 years as a divorce and family law solicitor, where I dedicated myself to  helping families resolve financial and child-related matters quickly and cost-effectively.

 

In addition to my legal practice as an experienced divorce and family law solicitor, I helped TCM Group to develop leading diverse and complex workplace mediation programmes for the organisation’s public and private sector clients. It was during my time as a litigation solicitor that I recognised the potential of mediation as an effective tool for resolving workplace conflicts and business disputes. This, combined with my determination to resolve legal disputes without costly and cumbersome legal processes, inspired me to become a Workplace and ADR Group accredited Civil and Commercial Mediator.

 

While I am a qualified family mediator, my primary focus remains on my work as a divorce and family law solicitor. I am registered with the FMCA (working towards full accreditation) and am a member of the College of Mediators and the Professional Mediators’ Association (PMA).

 

I work with families and organisations across Essex,  London and Cambridge, employing my non-judgemental approach to determine the root cause of any conflict. Thanks to my approachable, psychotherapeutic style, I am able to connect with clients from all cultures and backgrounds, ensuring that their legal and mediation needs are met with understanding and compassion.​​
